  • Pre-eclampsia and eclampsia

  • Constipation
Side Effects:
  • Flushing
  • Sweating
  • Hypotension
  • Bradycardia
  • Respiratory depression
  • Muscle weakness
  • Nausea and vomiting
Contraindications:
  • Heart block
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Renal failure
  • Hypocalcemia
